Oh wow, I could say a ton on this topic. :) Let's see...I'm a college student with a major in journalism and a minor in family and consumer sciences. I am very blessed to have a very wise and caring mom and dad and two loving older sisters. :) But the most important part of my life is Jesus Christ. Without Him, I would not have any reason to live. He should be the center of everything I do because He died for me on the cross so I would not have to pay for my punishment of sin. He paid that punishment for me and because of that, I owe Him my life in service to Him. I like to call myself "a princess in training" because I'm learning to serve my King, Jesus Christ, the best way I can.

good evening! :)

I'm laying on my bed with a bunch of pillows around me and a box of my favorite cheez-it crackers. This is the life! :) I just watched an Andy Griffiths show. lol, Barney got lost in the forest with Gomer and Andy had to go rescue them...again. Barn is such a nut. ;)

My sisters, Serena and Jena, are leaving for camp tomorrow. Serena's a Bible teacher and Jen's the camp nurse. I wish I were going with them! But I have to work this week...so I'll be going to camp as a counselor next week. :)

I'm being really lazy at the moment. I worked on French earlier and that was depressing. I feel like I've forgotten so much since I left school for the summer. I really should spend more time studying it. I have a French "tutor" this summer so that's keeping me motivated to study like I should... :)

Oh, you'll never guess what I did today!! I dyed my hair red. Well, okay, it's more of a chestnut brown. Serena said it looked orange (thanks alot!!). And I also cut it right after I got home from school. So now it's about shoulder length and ...err... orange. :) I was actually hoping my hair would turn green so I would have an excuse to pay to have it "professionally" colored, but I think orange is a good enough excuse! lol, I don't think it will last long though, so by the time I return to BJ, it should be naturally brown again. I'd give anything for either dark hair or blond hair! :) oh well. :) I was just telling somebody else the other day to be content, so I better start practicin' what I preach! ;)

Oh, if you think of it, I'd appreciate it you'd pray for my cat, Mittens. She's been missing for about three days now and that's so unlike her. She always sleeps on my bed at night and gets up with me in the morning--she's such a sweetheart. :) I went outside everywhere looking for her today...and I mean everywhere!
lol, I went into an old basement house that came with some property dad bought about a year ago. Nobody lives in the house--it's a big dump--and it's about a mile from our house. I'm so serious when I say it looks like a haunted house. I'm not superstitious, but that house gives me the creeps!! I was walking through it, totally terrifed the entire time...I was so scared I'd run across snakes, rodents, spiders, or anything that else that crawls. ugh. Then when I was satisfied that Mittens wasn't trapped in the house somewhere, I was practically running back to my car when something leaped out in front of me. I screamed so loud I think I scared every possible rodent that habits that area. :) lol, but it was just the neighbor's dog. I never want to go back to that house ever again. I feel scarred for life. ;)

But I still didn't find Mitts. I'm afraid either she wandered off for good or a coyote or some other wild beast caught her. I just hate to think of her helpless somewhere. I'll attach a picture of her as soon as I can get the picture mode to work again. She's half siamese and such a sweetie. :)

alrighty, well, I've got to get going. It's almost 11 p.m. here and I still have lots to do, so I'll catch ya on the flip side!!
