about purplegirl
Oh wow, I could say a ton on this topic. :) Let's see...I'm a college student with a major in journalism and a minor in family and consumer sciences. I am very blessed to have a very wise and caring mom and dad and two loving older sisters. :) But the most important part of my life is Jesus Christ. Without Him, I would not have any reason to live. He should be the center of everything I do because He died for me on the cross so I would not have to pay for my punishment of sin. He paid that punishment for me and because of that, I owe Him my life in service to Him. I like to call myself "a princess in training" because I'm learning to serve my King, Jesus Christ, the best way I can.

okay, so I had the most wonderful interview last night with a French professor at the high school. She was incredibly sweet and she talked slow enough, didn't ramble and enunciated well on so I could catch everything she said. I got some great quotes!
If only more people could talk that way. After interviewing more than a 100 people this summer, I've decided that most Americans have a speech impediment. lol, and it's only noticeable when you're looking for quotes. :)
I ate with my Grandma one last time today at Pizza Hut. She usually goes to town once a week to go shopping so I've been meeting her for lunch whenever she comes in. And today is the last day we got to eat lunch together before I leave for school. It was sad, but I'm so thankful I've gotten to spend that time with her over the summer!!
okay, y'all, I have to admit, I'm ready to be back in the South Carolina paradise! :) Not ready to be back to classes though... :(
